Dr. Boxley Talks About Trauma/PTSD With Sarasota County Law Enforcement Officers

Dr. Boxley and Lt. Charles Kenniff  (Ret.) trained Sarasota County Law Enforcement on how to deal with and recognize trauma/ PTSD in themselves and in the public.  This is part of the week-long CIT training that prepares officers for dealing with those with mental health challenges.

Dr. Boxley was an invited speaker to present to the Baycare/ Morton Plant Family Medicine faculty and residents on the topic of "Managing Psychosocial Effects of Recurrent UTIs".

Dr. Boxley was a co-presenter on the topic of practical school interventions for children with neurodevelopmental impairments (ADHD, ID, Autistic Spectrum) at the largest state-wide conference in Florida.

Summer, 2022

Dr. Boxley participated in a week-long training for the Sarasota County and Manatee County Sheriff Department.  He presented on PTSD, co-occurring disorders and trauma-informed care.
